Our Policies - Procedures - Terms - Conditions Q: What is your payment policy? A: We accept payment up to the time services will be started. Payment is due in full at the time of services. Tailored Maid Services gladly accepts the following methods of payment: - Cash
- Checks (personal and certified)
- Credit Cards (payments by credit card are processed by Google Checkout by sending you and emailed invoice prior to service date). Payments made by credit card must be received by 7:00 am the day of services.
If we arrive to clean and there is no payment, we will contact you immediately for a credit card payment. If you are not available or do not wish to use a credit card, we will reschedule your appointment. Returned check policy: Returned checks are subject to a $35 returned check fee. After 14 business days, all unpaid returned checks will be processed through local authorities for recovery.
Q: What is your cancellation policy? A: If you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service, kindly give at least 48 hours notice. We have held that slot open for you and have turned other potential customers away in order to ensure your timeframe. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are subject to a $50 reschedule fee. Cancellations made on the day of service are subject to the price of the entire cleaning fee. Q: What is your refund policy? A: Since residential cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, we do not offer refunds for our service. However, we do want you to be happy with our services. Because of this, we do offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If within 24 hours you notify us that you are unhappy with any element of our cleaning service, a supervisor will return to clean the area(s) in question at no additional cost to you.
Q: What is your Privacy Policy? A: We respect your privacy and confidentiality. We do not share your information with anyone, EVER.
Q: What about extra services? A: If you need additional services, please let us know 48 hours in advance so that we may discuss them fully. We will need to schedule additional time for these services. In turn, please keep in mind that our employees are our most important asset. We are very serious about keeping them safe, so they do not move anything heavier than 35 pounds. These types of activities put them in jeopardy of back injuries or could even damage your flooring. If you wish to have cleaning done behind appliances such as refrigerators or behind large furniture, please make arrangements to have them moved in advance so that we may access the desired areas to be cleaned.
Q: Do you encourage or require tipping to your employees? A: Although tipping is a exceptional way of showing appreciation and giving thanks to your service provider for a job well done, Tailored Maid Services does not require tipping. An alternative which speaks in equal measure would be a simple card of thanks or a personal note showing appreciation. Remember, your appreciation need not be monetary. A simple "Thank You" can mean a great deal. As always, your testimonials and references are always welcome! We appreciate you each and every day and hope we can prove that in the quality and availability of our services to you for many years to come.
